Cosmetic Rejuvenation

What is Cosmetic Rejuvenation?

Cosmetic Rejuvenation is a revolutionary cosmetic treatment that rejuvenates the skin, resulting in a youthful appearance.

Also known as the ‘Vampire Facial’ or ‘Vampire Facelift’, it has developed a following amongst celebrities in Hollywood and the treatment is now available here in Australia.

We use modern technology by using our Vital Injector 2 to deliver precision injections in an evenly distributed field to maximise your results. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeyWniSifFc

Studies have shown that this is much better tolerated than injecting by hand and also that it gives more consistent results. Not only are you getting the benefits of the micro-needling, but we can also customise which injectables you use to better suit your needs - choose between PRP, Vitality Booster, Hyaluronic Acid or anti-wrinkle treatment, or combine any of these treatments for better results.

How does PRP work?

PRP contains a high proportion of cytokines, white blood cells and growth factors vital for the regeneration of tissue. Growth factors in the PRP stimulate cells called dermal fibroblasts, increasing their replication and production of collagen and elastin.

These are responsible for tissue strength and elasticity, which are often lost in aging.

PRP also stimulates adipocytes which are responsible for facial fullness and reduction of naso-labial folds and smile lines.

The result is tissue growth, a reduction in wrinkles and a more youthful complexion.

How it differs from mainstream treatment?

When compared to current mainstream cosmetic treatments such as Botox and fillers, PRP differs in several ways:

  • It is natural and harmless. PRP is made from a sample of your own blood, without any additives, so there is no risk of an allergic reaction.
  • PRP does not work by reducing the movement of the muscles of facial expression, so will not result in paralysis.
  • Its effects last longer. While the effects may take several weeks to develop, they last longer than Botox or fillers.

How to prepare for your treatment?

Drink plenty of water and eat healthily prior to treatment.

  • Vitamin E and fish-oil tablets should be avoided 2-3 days prior to your treatment as they can increase bruising.
  • If you are taking blood thinning medications (eg. Warfarin, Pradaxa or Xarelto), you may also experience greater bruising. Please let us know if you are taking any of these.

Procedure

A nurse will take your blood (like a normal blood test).

The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to isolate the PRP which contains a large concentration of growth factors and platelets integral to healing and regeneration.

The area to be treated is washed and local anaesthetic cream is applied. The PRP is then injected directly into the area to be treated with the aid of our Vital Injector II.

This process takes approximately 60 minutes.

Please note that some people experience mild bruising in treated areas. This is normal and should subside in a few days.

  • Injection of the Skin Booster and the anti-wrinkle treatment hydrates and nurtures the tissues to activate new collagen and elastin, leading to thickening of the dermal layer of the skin.
  • The anti-wrinkle treatment, which is delivered into the dermis via micro-dosing, results in decreased pore size, facial sweating, flushes or hot flushes. It also decreases excess oil production, eliminates fine lines and leads to a natural looking result.
  • Mint Mono insertion lays a mesh to support the formation of new collagen

We also offer minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment with PDO threads. MINT Mono PDO threads are Australian TGA approved and backed by clinical studies for its safety and efficacy.

The threads are laid in the sub dermis and create a vectorial network that forms a framework or scaffolding for collagen fibres, thereby stimulating skin rejuvenation and improving the appearance of wrinkles and saggy skin. The embedded threads are naturally reabsorbed by the body over a period of 3 months and have an excellent safety profile.

Our threads are TGA approved and backed by clinical studies for its efficacy and safety.
